Willock has been in fantastic form for Newcastle United since moving to the club during the January transfer window. The young English midfielder moved to St. James Park on a short-term loan deal from Arsenal. Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce has already confirmed that they are willing to sign the Arsenal loanee permanently.

Arsenal loaneeWillock has scored eight times for Newcastle United since moving to the Northeast including four goals in four games in the month under review. As a matter of fact, Willock has scored in each of his last seven games in the Premier League thus becoming only the second Newcastle United player to achieve this feat after club legend and former Three Lions striker Alan Shearer.

Willock started the month of May by scoring one of the goals as Newcastle United stunned hosts Leicester City at the King Power Stadium to secure Premier League football for one more season at least. The 21-year-old was responsible for the first goal in a 4-2 win for the Magpies at the expense of the Champions League chasers. He made it two goals in two games for the month under review with one of the goals in the 4-3 home defeat to Manchester City.

Newcastle United defeated bottom team Sheffield United 1-0 at home in their penultimate league outing of the season and their final game at home thanks to the first half header from Willock thus making it three goals in three games for him in May. He then took his tally to four goals in four games in May with one of the goals in the 2-0 away win over already-relegated Fulham on the final day of the present Premier League season.
